Default Come On Tuners!

With all the talk about High HP Vettes! Why doesn't somebody modify either the traction control computer or engine management computer to "Facilitate" the launch sequence as does Ferrari on it's newer models. Nothing is ever easy, however the C-5 uses a fly by wire system. It's really all in the computer as witnesed by the extroardinary 0-60 times if the new 430 or Enzo!
Limited throtle ie: in first (50%)and second (75%) (not unlike feathering the throttle)! Delayed HP not unlike what a Nitrous controller does. This could almost be set up like a Power Programmer with adjustability as everybody's needs would be slightly different depending upon engine, FI or normal, tire size, altitude etc.

VISUALIZE AN ELECTRONIC STOP ON THROTTLE ADVANCE!

I'm not asking for a F.1 suspension control system here...just a progressive limitation on HP!
Not unlike the action of a progress nitrous control or a Boost Controller!
The Same only Differesnt.
I'm sure there are 100 reasons why this can't be done!
Why not find.........One Way to Do It!
Respectfully

ITs allready in place..

Its called traction control..TCS for short.

The TCS parameter can be modified to do exactly as that import you speak of.

I have HPtuner software, but I didn't notice anywhere to manage traction control...just A4 stuff.

What version..

Look in torque managment section.
Has max allowable torque and the full retard tables etc.
The managment model is both active and reactive. The active uses the model and data within to control power to the tires before wheelspin. The reactive portion is after the sensors have detected spin, at that point its a lookup table with timing retard etc used to re-establish positive contact with the road surface.

Traction control cuts fuel when the wheels spin, correct?

On boosted applications this does not sould like a good thing

Default So Who's Right!

Well............................So can you limit HP W/O cutting fuel FLOW?

Excellant input!
That's one of the reasons I wanted to control the Fly By Wire System!

Questioning!

TCS only commands Timing..Has a window to pull 47 degrees out. It doe NOT impact fuel or apply the brakes.

Mello was doing some playing as its not snowing there.
