I've been looking at this mod as well. I just don't know if I want to use the flash stick to trigger the opener. I'll probably install a push button on one of the small dash panels like the one that covers the sensor to the right of the steering wheel. Some place that can be replaced cheaply if and when I sell. I'm not sure I like the idea that someone unknowingly may activate the door while checking the lights function.
