I have been looking at different exhaust mods for my basically stock 2000 coupe. Was wondering about tip alignment on the B&B Bullets. The pics I have seen of this system have flanges instead of clamps on the over the axle pipes. How can you align the tips?? Are they bent perfectly from the factory so the line up?? I have a set of Ti mufflers on and the are close, but not perfect. Being that I am borderline obsessive/compulsive, I want a nice fit and finish. Also, any input on which system sounds best?? I like the Ti's, but I am looking for a little more growl. Thanks for any help!!
i have the b&b bullets they were somewhat difficult to align, but with a little effort they came out real close, basically just loosen the clamps and keep playing with it till it comes out
dajael...When I had my B&B's installed the guy got them aligned and put a spot wel where the clamp is to hold them in place. He said that is very common with B&B and jusyt to come back if they ever become crooked. Haven't had to go back yet. :knocks on wood:
The B&B Bullets I've seen don't have clamps, they have flanges like at the end of the H pipe. What do you do for them?!?!?
DIP51, I had the same question. I have the Corsa Indy and like them very much but would like a little more "sound". The vote on the Forum seems to suggest that the B&B Bullets would give me what I wanted but like you when I saw the picture of the system I had questions about alignment. I called the folks at B&B and talked to a tech rep. Very helpfull and he explained that the flanges were "overdrilled" (holes slightly larger than necessary) and that is how they were aligned. I haven't made up my mind yet but I hope that answers your question.
You can move to Houston, TX we have at least two shops that can get them perfect. In fact if you call supporting vendor Corvettes of Houston and ask for Jim in Service. Ask him how they do it and I'll bet they will give you some guidance.
I haven't put my Ti's on yet. This is good to know before I get in there. It was a concern of mine but I'll check it out. I was thinking that you bent the bracket that goes into the hanger to get them aligned.

The rubber hangars can be trimmed just slightly to raise and you can also use washers to lower, if need be.
Thanx for all the info!!! Not sure what system I'll be going with, but if anyone wants a Ti exhaust in the NE area...there will be one for sale SOON!!! (If this SNOW EVER MELTS!!! )
