Waiting to find a lift so I can install my Bullets. I want to keep the OEM system intact.
.
I had my lift fully extended with two additional pieces of wood between the lift and crossmember. I could have used more shims, but felt it might have been a safety issue using too many of em. Many here have said they removed the OEM's intact, but in my case it was easier to cut em off. A lift that goes higher would have been the ticket...
Being able to do these things yourself does give one a little more satisfaction. I'm cool with the way it turned out...

When I installed my GHL exhaust, we had to lift the rear end with a low profile floorjack with 2-3 blocks of 2x4s. It is critical to lift the rear approx. 3', be patient as you snake out the OEM exhaust. I thought it was scary having my baby lifted that way but it worked. The install of the new exhaust was easy as it was in 3 pieces.
Good luck, I have the 4" Bullets, your going the love them.

PS, Dont forget the jackstands!!!!!
