Default Floor Jack

What type/brand/model of floor jack is suitable for use? I have a floor jack that is fine for my TrailBlazer, but absolutely will not fit under the C5. Thanks in advance.

Craftsman's low profile aluminum racing jack from Sears. 1 1/2 ton. $120. I believe it rests at either 3'' or 3.25''. You can always find sales at walmart for floor jacks and I know that certain stores have aluminum racing jacks for under $100. I prefer to stick to a nice name brand like craftman though

I love that Craftsman alum floor jack. My other jack would no longer fit under the car after I lowered it...

I have the Craftsman aluminum racing jack and it works well. About a 3.5" minimum height, so it will go under the back and the sides no problem. Can't get it under the front, but I use a sissors jack to lift the car a bit then use the Craftsman to finish the job.

The Craftsman jack is on sale starting Saturday for $99. Use your Craftsman Club card for another $10 off. Total cost $89 + tax! I plan on picking one up for that price.

I bought the 3,000lbs Aluminum jack from Haborfreight for $149.00,
think I just saw the same jack there for either $79.00 or $99.00

P.S. The jack is alow profile and fit's under my lowered Z with "NO" problem

I called Sears in my area and they are not aware of any sale on this jack. Are you sure this is not a local offer?

Not quite sure, but the sale doesn't start until Saturday. The mailer mailed to me was within my region, but it also mentions the craftsman.com website. I would think this would make it national, but who knows. Give them a call again tomorrow and see.
