Default HELP - DIC - OPTIONS Button

I was wondering if any of you could help me with this question. I just purchased a 1999 FRC Torch Red Vette with 30,000 miles and I love it.
The question I have is when I am Going through the Driver Information Center and choose the Option Button - the drop menu skips from the APPROACH LIGHTS ON to LANGUAGE ENGLISH. The AUTO LOCK ON and AUTO UNLOCK-DRIVER settings are just not their. I was told by a Chevy dealer that these are standard settings under the Option Button. I know that the Twilight and Seat Easy Entry On settings are Optional but can anyone tell me why the AUTO LOCK ON and AUTO UNLOCK-DRIVER settings are not showing up for me in my DIC. I tried to disconnect the battery and reconnect but no change. I do have the RFA Keyless Transmitter that came with the vehicle that has the Passive on/off option. Presently it is set to off. Any Suggestions please.

Default I believe...

...setting the passive to "on" will give you access to the options. I may be wrong, but I think (it was awhile ago) that that's what I did.

Good luck

I would agree with fourdownone... of course, you could always read the owners manual..
