airbag light

yesterday while I was on my way to see the C-6 Zo6 at the auto show the airbag light came on. there was no message on the dic and the light is staying on? anyway I could find out what the cause is without going to the dealer?

I've never had this happen. Have you checked the owner's manual? What about a blown fuse?

Manual says to bring it in if the airbag light goes off. I'd fix almost anything in my Vette, but an airbag issue is not one I'd mess with.

First it could go off when you are trying to diagnose, second if you fix it wrong it could go off on you while you are driving the car, or worse, not go off in a wreck...

Have the stealership look at it...
