Run in with a Busa......
Okay. Big question for everyone. Today I was cruising in town as 2 bikes passed me. I follow them till right outside town. One was a red hyabusa, other a green ninja. I pull right next to the busa, (we're going about 65), and he looks over, points forward then counts to 3 on his right hand. I downshifted into 2nd and on 3 I hammered it. I got about 2 cars on him but he stayed there at that same distance till the end, (about 115). I didnt want to take it too high. I slowed down and he pulled up next to me, smiled and nodded. He then did the same thing, (count to 3), but I was already slowing down to make a U-turn. Je took off as the other bike followed. Now for the question.....Was he playing with me??? My car is modded but I didnt think I was in bike territory. 400 rwhp. Input.............

a busa will run 140+ in the quarter mile and on up to almost 200 mph stock....he was just toying with you if he wasn't still in 6th gear.

Your car seems to be very fast (as most modded vettes are) but a Busa (1300cc insane crotch rocket) is faster. I would suppose that he didn't want to downshift too low at those speeds, thats why he didnt take right away but hung with you. Just my 2 cents

thats what I thought. Maybe just hit it in 6th gear. I was suprised. I was expecting him to fly bye like I was going backwards. The ninja was behind him getting on it too when I hit it. Maybe the guy was like 600lbs and weighed the bike down too much.

I have a slightly modified 03 Gixxer 750 Trust me, the first time he counted to three and you smoked him, he was playing..... The second time he counted to three he meant business and was going to show you what Busas are all about
