I hit one in October going 60 and just got the car back from the body shop this weekend. It sat there for over 7 weeks and the paint still doesn't match. Looks like a few more weeks in the shop until they get it right.

I've been through that very same scenario several times in the last few years. My issues have been at 2 or 3 AM. In the road, running across the road etc. My C5 never ceases to amaze me.. With few cars on the Atlantic city expressway at those hours... you can stand on the brakes without fear of being rear ended... When your in a deer rich environment, you try to program yourself "Not to Swerve". More people are killed or severely injured by swerving into another car or truck, trying to avoid hitting a deer.
I came to close once by doing just that. Lukily I was able to get back into my lane before the oncoming vehicle passed. Learnt my lesson.
