Default Suspention question

I am looking to buy a 98-01 coupe with a six-speed. I was woundering how much of a difference the z51 performance packge made during those years? Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!

If by "difference" you are referring to the price, the MSRP for the Z51 Performance Handling Package for model years 98-01 was around $350.

If you're referring to performance:

- Beginning with model 2000, the Z51 sway bar diameters grew from 25.4/21.7 to 28.6/23.6 (front/rear in mm), so size differences from year to year will have some effect on the performance numbers: Sway Bar Comparisons

Just from reading posts, I have noticed that most people who get the Z51 are in general happy with it. Many people who have the F45 or FE1 (the softer suspensions) seem to think that its too soft for the type of performance car the Corvette is... I definitely thought it was too soft...
