Default Ahh Im going CrAzY...

I just cannot make up my mind! Thats why Im asking my fellow CF members to help me make a final decision. Im torn between which wheels I want on my car next. Ive got a yellow coupe, slammed, on chrome Z06's as of now. I will be selling my wheels very shortly, and plan on purchasing new wheels as soon as i can make a decision. the two wheels I like are the 18x12 chrome Z06 wheels, and the new "Z07" chrome wheels. I looooooooove the look of 12's in the back, with some HUGE meat out back, simply AMAZING looking, but then again, theres the Z07 wheels which are 18x11 and also just look incredible, espically on the yellow vert that Ive seen pics of them on!! God, what am I gonna do? Decisions...decisions...

NO clue what the Z07 wheels look like. A couple pictures might help get the poll going.

The 18x12 wheels stick out too far and look like azz...

While its true you can get bigger meats on them, you can still get 315s on the Z07 wheels which should be enough for getting the job done.

See for yourselves:

18x12 Z06

vs.

18x11 Z07

EDIT: forgot to add a pic of a rear shot to show that the Z07s do not stick out like the Z06s. Here's a shot courtesy of yours truly:

My recommendation would be to go with the new Z07 wheels. They look awesome.

Of the two choices, I would go with the Z07's.

JMHO, but I would not put C6 wheels on a C5.

Good luck with your decision.

I'm not a fan of putting any ZO6 parts on a non-ZO6 but I love those ZO7's. I just might get a set myself.

He was not asking opinions of any other wheels but these two. If you want to be helpful and contribute to a thread, stick to the topic.

I personally wouldn't put C6 wheels on a C5. I love the look of the C6 Z06 chromies.

I have the 18x12s sitting in the garage now awaiting install. I have seen several C5s with the CCW wheels sticking out. It doesn't bother me one bit. I think it looks aggressive. Plus the 315 tire is too small in diameter. I need more traction.

I've got 295 on now, which were the tires that I had before I bought the wheels a couple months ago. I do plan on getting 315 when it is time.

Also, the comments of not putting C6 wheels on a C5 are not really valid in this case, as these wheels are not exactly the same as the C6 Z06. If you look at where the lug holes are on these wheels compared to the new Z, you can see the obvious difference.

They could easily be called Ferrari F430 or Enzo-style wheels, as all 3 look similar to these, while not being the same wheel.
