I noticed in the tech section that alot of you have tuners work on your car. Can someone tell me the what you gain out of this in HP and pricing. I read alot of different problems that some of you get from this. Do you gain that much and was it worth the price. Is there a big price difference from state to state. I'm not knocking anyone for doing this, I am wondering why it is done. Thanks
If you car is stock I do not think that you would benefit from a tune that much. However if you have done some mods ex. long tube headers, cat back system, then a tune might be useful. In my case I think that I am running a little rich so in the spring I will be getting the car tuned, not expecting much of a HP increase.

Actually OOH YEAH visited Norris in Altamonte Springs FL...
...afterwards he had a huge hp gain...
...and others, with stock or without the usual bolt-ons airbox and exhaust, have discoverd hidden hp in a DYNO TUNE...
The dyno tune takes about 4-6 pulls...but Norris has pulled 30-40hp from those tunes... for $395.00 thats a pretty good return on the $
