I know we love our cars a lot and dont want just anyone working on it, but it is really simple to chage a catback exhaust on our cars. The only problem is getting it like 4 ft off the ground. I brought my vette to Mineke in Peabody on Rt1 near lowell St. And they have changed out multiple exhaust for me at $20 pop. I usualy just stay there and help or watch them do it. They know me pretty good there so maybe thats a plus!
Good luck!
PS I hate lous custom exhaust!!!! When i first got my vette i brought my car there to get a new exhaust put on and they cut the stock exhaust in half!! because they were to lazy to do it the right way. They have a bunch of kids working there and them seem like they are all dumb. Sorry just venting,
Also if you putting on an exhaust that is like a 2 piece or 3 piece exhaust you can easily do it yourself if you have some ramps to back up on and also assuming you dont have the stock exhaust on there anymore unless you dont mind cuttin git in half.
I wanted to keep my stockers just incase.
I just wanted the exhaust tips changed on my Z06 and to tighten the system up because it was rattling a bit. Since the Z06 has a TI setup I explained they would not be able to weld it like stainless. They did not listen and ruined my exhaust by burning holes in it. Total hacks. They replaced what they messed up with stainless but it looks like crap underneath and of course is not as light as the TI setup. I was planning to put on Corsa Indy's anyways, but will not be going to them to get the work done.
