Default Can I program just one sensor?

I want to program just one sensor (RR). I have a copy of the steps to program all the sensors. Do I have to program all the sensors just to do the RR, or can I program one sensor by itself (while its mounted on the wheel of course)? What is the best way to program just one (if it can be done)?

You cannot program just 1 sensor. Once you enter programming mode, you will be prompted to program (learn) each sensor one by one until all 4 sensors are programmed. Procedure is quite simple, so you should not be concerned about programming all 4 sensors.

I don't think you can do just one. It won't take long to do all four.

With a good, strong magnet and 4 working sensors, it takes a whole minute or so to walk around and do all 4.

Got to do them all when you do this. Sorry, but it only takes about 2 minutes tops to do them all.

There is a tech tip to take you through the programming process. Once you enter the programming mode, it will require that you follow a certain sequence of setting specific tires. If only one sensor needs re-training, you have to do all 4 to complete the training session.

If you don't find the tech tip, let me know. I printed the procedure from GM's tech manual. It's done very easily through the DIC. (and placing the magnet over each sensor at the appropriate time)

I have one of those magnet on a stick tools for picking up stray nails, screws, etc. - the magnet is about the same diameter as a hockey puck, but its only half as thick. It works for me...
