hud in a 98?
i would like to install hud in my 98 vert.. what will i have to do? new cluster? what about top of dash for view ? and windshield.. i would like this mod... but not sure whats gotta go,,, and whats gotta come,,,thanx for any help

I can supply you all of the parts, and even install it if you like...parts $599. Install in Greenville, SC for $99 extra.
You'll need the new odometer programmed to match your old one, which I can do for an additional $150. I can give a credit of $150 for the return of your old gauge cluster if you'd like.

I put HUD in my 04 coupe. Not too difficult. Cutting the hole in the dash was the most time consuming part. Parts for me were less than $300. I think you need to buy a HUD enabled instrument cluster for your car though. I don't know what they cost.

Not trying to stick my nose in but if you do decide to get Josh to install the hud. My shop is about 2 hours north of where he lives. Since you're driving from Va., you may want to ask him if he doesn't mind driving to Charlotte. Josh is extremely helpful and it'll save you at least an add'l 2 hours drive. You and him are more than welcome to use my shop.
(besides, if he comes to do yours, I'll probably have him do mine at the same time...)
