Customized DIC on 2004?

Has anyone had the DIC display customized on their 2004? I'd like to change the one on my Dad's 2004 to say something other than Corvette by Chevrolet. I've looked thru the various computer systems using my Tech 2, but I didn't see anything that would allow me to alter the display.

or maybe call it a C5.5

I don't think you can change the DIC on a C5.
