hud this way
talked to josh ( pace this) yesterday and now my 98 will be updated with hud,,, removed everything today and now just have to wait for it,,kinda feel like a kid again waiting for xmas. would like to thank josh for the over hour chat we had,,, real 
guy, i have only talked to two guys from when i joined the one and only CF looking for mods and both are hats off guys. i really never started off letting everybody here know about myself as a new member sorry about that ,,, but i will try to post some pictures as soon as i finish from what was my bone stock vert,,, 
to all you guys who have helped me and also to those who will, hope i can help someday.. my bank account is a little lighter because of this place... thanx for reading this... Chris..

Josh is THE man when it comes to HUD.
You will need to get used to the reflection of the HUD trim piece in the windshield.
so...your car currently looks more or less like this:
Upper left is the HUD projector that I installed using Josh's instructional web page.
(this pic may not be viewable for long...I recently switched from AOL)
About the only thing I did different from Josh is I didn't glue in the trim bezzel...I shortenned the legs of the bezzel and screwed it in with screws and washers.
Good luck the rest of the way.

The HUD is a great option to add to the car. I think you will enjoy it alot.

Question on the 11-pin harness. I received my parts today. It seems as if the projector has a harness on it from the factory. Does this mean I dont need to order a harness from Josh?

I seem to recall Corvettes with HUD from the factory has a special coated windshield. If the car did not original have HUD, the reflection is lacking something.
It would be interesting to me if you could do a comparision with a Corvette that had HUD from the factory, and report back your results.
Check both day and night driving.

Uforic. Did you spend the money I sent you for your old wheels on the HUD? I thought you were going to use it to pay off those sweet new Foose wheels. The mod fever just gets worse it never gets better!!! Good luck with your new toy and thanks again for the wheels!

I saw it in a factory '01 about 2 weeks before I did mine...I didn't remember it being any different...so if there's a difference, it's not very much.
