Default Low ground clearance

I am considering buying a c5, however I have a very steep driveway. We tried my neighbors c5 and it and the front dam scraped badly. Is this dam removable or is it necessary for the proper cooling of the engine. I had the same problem with my Intrigue and I removed it with no adverse effects. Thanks for the help.

It's necessary......but it's also designed to drag at times with little or no harm.

You think it's bad now....wait until you lower it......

I'm sure they'd help with your driveway issue as well.

I have the frame savers on mine. It helps in certain areas around town. And if you mess up the dam it's only $30

The 3 pieces are easily replaceable and relatively inexpensive but necessary for proprer cooling and should be replaced if damaged or torn off.
