w/DirteeDave. I was concerned with it myself at first. So was the wife. After seeing it when I touch the brakes in the daytime and with the running lights on at night the concern was gone.

You were the leader? Well, I am just shocked to say the least. I guess doing your homework really does pay off in the end. This'll be a great example to show my kid.
I'll give you a call on the RR's.

Are you talking about the emblem or the lettering? I've got to remove that lettering as it was the cheap plastic letters and the "chrome" is cracking and bubbling on some of the backs of the letters. I was thinking about replacing them with SS.

I've developed my own C5 GPS system mod. I tape a map to the inside of the windshield then just drive down the lines.
Well, I finally got around to snapping a couple of pix today of the rearend entirely blacked out. I received the tail light and front turn signal covers for Christmas, then got with Greg (Gst20Psi) to finish it off by getting the back up and third brake light covers.
I have to give outstanding props to Greg. He was great to deal with and even sent me a replacement free of charge and shipping for the third brake light cover. I thought it seemed a little too large (for mine anyway) and Greg said go ahead and try it and if it didn't work, he'd replace it free of charge. I put it on but it came off a day or two later. Sent Greg an email and within a few days I had a replacement. Sanded it just a touch and it has been on for about two weeks now. Thanks Greg!
I also got the tint job a little over a month ago but haven't posted any pix of it. I guess it's time to change my sig pic as well.
Anyway, here's a couple of shots from this afternoon...
After getting a set of covers, I ended up selling them off and I sanded down my tail lights and painted them with clear painted tinted with a little black. After 3-4 coats, I ended up with the right depth of black. a high gloss black finish that let the light through and I was able to do complete the flush tail light mod to. I've already painted my 3rd brake light and I'll be painting my back up lights and parking lights next!
It's from CF member gst20psi (Greg) - drop him a PM and he'll hook you up

I already have some products from Greg.(Back up lights and front turn signal black outs). He mentioned that he got the tail lights for Christmas and he finished the project w/ Gregs stuff. On Gregs site the tail lights look flat, like they would fit into the openings aft of the original tail lights and have a "flat" finished appearance. His on the other hand have a rounded look to them. As if they were shaped like the origianl tail lights.
Gregs Black outs have a flat, one dimensional appearance:

I definitely like the ones you did 74-Roadster. Very nice. Something I couldn't trust myself to do.

Actually, they're illegal here too. I talked to a couple of LEO's in my neighborhood (one's a Vette owner ) and they told me they didn't see a problem with them

Do it man! You can always take them off if you don't care for them.
LOOKS GOOD David ! Jim found the right off ramp for 2 reasons 1 it had only been two week from the last trip to Daytona, and 2 we stayed on him with the radios and told him when to get off . had we let him go we would have ended up in Key West.
