Default Tire Pump recommendations

I'm looking for a good tire pump to keep from having to go to the filling station to inflate tires. Either a 12V or 120V. Something dependable which doesn't take all day to add 5 lbs per tire.
Thanks.

Based on your inflation-time requirement, stay away from the 12V models. They are really convinient, but take a LONG TIME to inflate. (12V can't drive much of a compressor). I'll share my 2 types of 120 compressors: #1 - I have a really convenient little Black & Decker "inflator" that is 120V, has a pressure gauge built-in, and is about the size of a shoe box. Works great for quick inflations! (I'm sure Sears & Wal-mart have comperable models). The wife & kids even use it to inflate their pool toys, etc. My 2nd compressor is a 6.5 HP / 30 Gal. upright I use to run my airtools. It will inflate a tire in 30 seconds, but takes a while to fill the tank for quick use.

My advise for convenience just for a quick tire "top-off": the small 120V "all-in-one.

PS - Little 120V is probably $30. The big sucker is $300-$400.

I have a small (shoe box) craftsman for bike tires, wheel barrow...etc and a full size compressor for car tires and power tools.

I picked up a Campbell Hausfeld 12 Violt / 120 Volt Rechargeable Cordless Inlator #CC2300 at Walmart a couple of years ago that works great. Inflates the tires very quickly. Great price too, I think it was under $30.

I've got a Craftsman portable compressor - I think it cost about $175 and does a great job.
