New Corvette Owner!!! [large pics]
First off, this car is awesome!!! It exceeded my expectations, which were already very high. The power is incredible and the way it sticks to the road...just thinking of it is making me grin like an idiot. Now I understand what this "perma-grin" everyone has been talking about! Even my parents, who are by no means car enthusiasts, are in LOVE with the car. It wouldn't surprise me if I came back home over spring break and there was a brand new C6 in our driveway!
A little aside, the Borlas sound fantastic. Cruising at 60 in 6th gear there is NO noise/resonance whatsoever. But as soon as you get on it...wow. Let's just say the phrase "wake the dead" fits perfectly.
A little about me: I'm a senior at Virginia Tech (graduating in May) double majoring in Economics and Political Science. I just made the 4 hour trip down 81 from Northern VA to Blacksburg. However, it took 8 hours due to an 18-wheeler fire that shut down the interstate 4 miles in each direction. No sweat though, just more time I got to spend with my new baby
On to the pics:
A few of it in the driveway (yes, that is snow on the ground).

Stopped on I81 for 2 hours

Well that's it. I look forward to getting addicted to the best forum on the internet, as well as participating in the England Green flaming threads

My best to everyone!

That is a beautiful ride! May you have miles of smiles, massauge the face to relieve perma-grin effects, drive your car, put on some more perma-grin , repeat as needed.
And don't forget to wave Here's pone from So. Cali
