A Great Day!
Well, my schedule finally has me home on a weekend and the weather here in Central Jersey is in the 50’s, so after 2 months, I got to take the vette for a ride. I went down to the Jersey shore (almost to Atlantic City) and back the scenic route, totaling about 150 miles. There were a lot of bikes, mustangs, older muscle cars out on the road, but I saw only 1 other vette getting gas. I would have thought everyone in this area would have been out. I guess they just weren’t on the same roads. The sun was warm through the glass and instead of looking at green grass and trees full of leaves, there were fields covered with snow. It was a beautiful ride. I had to drive through a lot of water from the melting snow, so I’m off to clean the vette. I can’t wait for spring!

Know the feeling. It was 55 degrees in Chicago burbs on Saturday, so out comes the vette. Took a nice long ride to the old neighborhood and visited with the next door neighbor. We went out for eats, and then I headed home. About 170 miles total. Damn that was great!!
