Default 1st Mod complete!Vararam Installed!

Finally got the weather and time to do my first mod. I installed the vararam intake system. What a pain!! Not to happy with the way the fog lights look. Took about 4-hours by myself and hope I never have to do it again. Hope the system works better than it went in. Now, on to the exhaust!!!

I'm in the process of getting the same system, any tips you can offer that'll save me some time.

Yes, move the brake vent tube to the outside by pushing it out of the way. It is flexable enough to snap in and out. Makes the two Vararam intakes easer to install.

I've heard they do take some time to install. Let us know how you like the system once you drive the car.

I just did mine. Moving the brake ducts is helpful. The housing fits too tight to the radiator shroud. Why not make it a half inch narrower?
I found aligning the top is impossible. One side fits the other doesn't. Need more flexibility between TB and MAF. Would like to know how other installs are fitting.
If anyone needs a lift, come to CT and use mine.

Loosen all the hose clamps on the upper connections line everything up then tighten the clamps back down. This worked for me.

What's the difference between the 1B and 2B? Are there really any?

I was inspired to get the z06 screens after installing my VaraRam as well. Dont like the way the fog lights look with the VaraRam piece.. Also, I too would advise going through the brake duct, unless of course your 6'10" 140lbs and your arms can actually fit to reach the back bolt on the fog light housing.
