Default Silly question, Poll

Funny how when you are looking at a used, car, sometimes you miss certain things. Anyways, I have had my car for a few days, & someone mentioned the fact that it didn't have any Z06 badges on the fenders. What? You're right, it doesn't! How did I not notice that .

So I started thinking about it. Yeah, I guess I could go buy some & put them on, but then I thought, maybe it's kind of cool not having them. Think about it, some of the general public who may not be Vette experts, might want to run with just a "regular" Corvette, thus making it a "Sleeper" . Also, it would make for a good Vette Enthusiast filter, when a person can correctly identify it as a Z06, even though it doesn't have the badges .

So , I'm taking a poll, should I leave it stealthy, or buy some badges & flaunt it?

Sleeper Corvette is a oxymoron.

Leave tham off. If I could remove my fender badges, I would. A C5 looks great clean, besides the fact that your on this forum you will perform mods. So why show an HP spec. I especially would not want to give a rice burner a heads up! Stealth Brother, Stealth!

I like the badge. I say wear it. The ricers will race you regardless if they think u have a Z or a regular C5.

IMO put them on. There is no sleeper vette, and a Z06 is just more of a suprise. I love the lines, but, I like the history more so. Flaunt it!

Are you sure it really is a Z06? If so, I'd put them on. I prefer the OEM look.

I think I am going to be removing by BSM's this spring....for a cleaner look......
But to each his own!

Your Z06 looks pretty clean with out them. But I wanted to make my '66 SS a sleeper so I put the regular sedan hood on her. Every riceburner, and mustang was giving me revs and always trying to get some off the lights. Got annoying, So I threw the SS hood back on and left the louvers black. Just to make a point.

I'd leave it naked. I hate the badges on the side. The car is much cleaner without the Z06 badges.

Mine were missing also. But, for me I am proud to flaunt the primere American Muscle Car. Put them on, no ricer is smart enough to know the diff any way, as I have them rev on me in my Dodge truck. Insted of racing them I slowly inch my way over and run them off the road. JK
