I drove my car home from Illinois to Florida and I saw so many other Corvettes on the road. I waved every time...never got one back. I even stopped down at Bowling Green on my way back and saw two or three there with no wave. What's up with that?
I wave when I see a Corvette, any Corvette. The return waves are hit or mis, usually they don't see the wave to start with. For the ones that see me wave and ignore it, oh well.

It should be included in the owners manual, that you should wave to other corvette owners.
Be persistent, don't give up the wave! I have waved at this red C6 as we pass everyday on the way to work for over two weeks. This afternoon I got a smile and a
Not here it isn't. Get plenty of waves. You will get your occasional, hapless, pinhead. However for the most part ppl still wave.
It doesn't make anyone a "hapless pinhead" just because they don't wave. What is the point of the wave anyway? I know what I'm driving. Besides, just because someone has the same car as me doesn't mean anything. For all you know the person your'e waving at is a hapless pinhead.

Unfortunately, this is pretty much the attitude of most Vette drivers now days. The Sports Car Camaraderie of the past is about gone, except for a few of us older guys, who remember how it was to be part of that special club and shared the HI Sign. :
I always wave at any year vette, in my opinion when I drove my C-4 none of the older guy's in C-5's would wave or even look at you, now that I own a C-5 this coming spring/summer I will wave and I will be checking to see who waves back!!!

Interesting view on this topic. To each his own I suppose.
