A C5 encounter with a C6
Just today I saw a gentleman in a dark blue C6 in the parking lot of a local store. We were both parked out in different parts of the "North 40" and as I started to leave, I noticed him about to leave as well.
So I pulled up next to him and gave him a wave and he enthusiastically returned the wave. We rolled the windows down (for you younger guys, we lowered them) and exchanged greetings and compliments on each other's cars.
I ended up giving him a business card for our Corvette Club and invited him to join us at our next meeting. Whether or not he comes, it was a great "Corvette Moment." Two complete strangers talking cars as if we were old friends.
Nice to be in the Corvette family.

It's so rare in today's society for complete strangers to acknowledge each other, let alone talk as friends. That says something about the Corvette huh?
