Default Red calipers

Anyone install the red Z06 calipers on a MSG? Wondering how it would look. Pics?

Red calipers on MSG would look good. My ride is TR so I can't help with a PIC but I have seen red caps on an MSG and it is

Saw one a couple of weeks ago. Looks ok, red cals are too common IMO. Try black ... I was skeptical at first, but after they're finished ...

Default Go with red

I have red Z06 callipers on my MSG 04 vert and they look great. Red works very will with the darker colors.

I'm still skeptical.

They look nice but they just aren't very noticible. They don't grab your attention like red ones. Just my opinion, of course.

I've been thinking about painting mine but I think red is too common as well. I wonder how a light/medium blue, like Nassau blue, would look...?

I just bought 4 Z06 calipers for my C5 coupe (Artic White) and am waiting for my rotors to come in. They are the same size of the stock ones on your car now. When I install my new calipers I will be reselling the old ones........for cheap!

There's a REASON red calipers are "so common".

But really, are they? You hear about them here all the time but when's the last time you saw a non-Z/06 with them when you're driving around? I've been watching and I haven't seen one yet. Just because they're common on the Corvette Forum doesn't mean they're common in the real world.

Yeah. It's all preference. Just do what you want. I liked the more subtle look myself.

Exactly. That's why they make gray cars and yellow cars because everyone's taste isn't the same.

Red calipers on a MSG car would look awesome. But, no need to change out the calipers. Just paint the ones you have. They are the same caliper as on the Z06 except for the color.

Personally I think red would look great on MSG. I plan on painting mine red one of these days when I get a chance.

Was it ferrari that popularized the red calipers? or are they just associated with hiperformance cars?

....That may soon change.........I went to the auto show in Houston last week and red calipers were so many new models you wouldn't believe it. My wife even made a comment about it. If they get too common I'll have to change colors........

I think that red is probably the most common color on calipers and for a good reason... IMHO they look the best against most colors out there with maybe the exception of Mag Red... You can't go wrong...
