Differential Fluid??


Also, should I redue the radi. fluid too since it's also used with the trani.??

I believe you can get the bottle of GM additive from any dealer or probably also from some of the forum vendors. The additive is to quiet the chatter some people hear from their differential.
I think there are other options, but this is just what I have in my files.


Radiator fluid also does not need changed till well over 100K, but again no damage if you do this now. Make sure you use the correct Dexcool fluid.
If you are a DIY'er, the rearend fluid is a very easy process. The coolant is more difficult to change if you want to get a 100% fluid change. Draining the radiator, flushing, draining, flushing, can take a lot of time. Depending on how often you plan to do this, you could DIY, or use a servicer.


I just thought I might want to redo the gears and radi. fluid while I was at it, so they'd all be new and not all old fluids and one new??
Will it make a difference for the car lasting me longer if I redo it all now or wait another 30,000 miles??
