My seats are the seats in the convertible without the holes. What are the sport seats? Are they the ones with the holes in the middle? How about Z06 seats.
The holes serve nicely for shoulder harnesses on a 5 or 6 point harness system, but apparently serve no other purpose. Then of course the sport seats are extremly comfortable to me at least.

As the others have said - the Sport Seats have the "hole" under the headrest portion of the seat. They also "sport" adjustable side bolsters and lumbar support.
The difference other than the motorized bolsters and lumbar is the foam and the cover. So if you are so inclined, you can convert your standard base seat to the appearance of a Sport seat. The metal frame of the seat is exactly the same on both style seats.
