Maybe he tracks the car and uses the hitch to pull a small tire trailer?

I've heard of some C5 owners with the same thing - they use the hitch to pull a small trailer carrying tools/tires, etc for track use or for pulling something like a jet ski.

I saw a C5 last year in Utah, that was pulling a small custom made trailer. The back end of the trailer was made with the rear fascia off a C5.
