After you have moved the seat all the way foreword.Remove the 2 15mm nuts on rear of seat tracks, move seat all the way to the rear, remove plastic covers from front of seat tracks by pulling the plastic rivet upwards, remove the 2 15mm nuts ,use small flatbladed screwdriver to release the locking tabs on electrical connection under seat,Lay seat back rearward and lift out without scratching the lower door sill.
1. take flathead screwdriver to pry out "push pin thingys" that hold on the plastic covers at the front of the seat feet.
2. Use 15mm socket/rachet (I think that's it) to remove the front nuts.
3. Slide seat forward and remove rear two
4. Sift seat up then unplug power connector and remove!
*Be careful not to scratch your door sill area w/ the seat base.... oh yeah try www.vetteessentials.com for a how two on the seat skins from start to finish!

While you have your seats out you might consider doing the sound proofing under your carpet. It will cut down on road noise considerably. Using Frost King will only add about 20 pounds to the weight of your car but it will make a world of difference in road noise from the wide tires.
For complete info on doing the entire procedure go to C-5 General and search for "Frost King" or look up Evil Twin or Mike Mercury. Both of them are very knowledgeable.
I have done the Frost King on the interior of my '02 Vert and it made a world of difference. It is nice to be able to cruise and carry on a conversation with your passenger.
