Hello,
i live in Germany and did get a 2003, Electron Blue Z06 from a Friend, who´s American.
That Z06 has 60.000 KM´s on it and runs like Hell.
It cuts off at 7.400 rpm and it is scary, to drive on narrow roads.
But fun, too.
My question. Jim , the old owner told me, that the front window is plastic, too.
Is that right? He had already two stoneships fixed and you can´t see or find it.
Friedel
P.S. And sorry for the grammar. Has been to long away, since we lived in the States!
Hi, the RPM's are intentionally limited to not over-rev the engine. After 6500 RPM's the computer retards the engine timing to prevent damage. As for your question about the windows, if it is original, both the front and rear are made of glass. Chevrolet made them thinner than normal and that of the standard Vette in order to reduce the weight of the Z06.
