Since all LED's are actually a solid state semi-conductor, they reach full brightness much faster than incandescent bulbs. It's almost instantaneous.
I just did the same on my '04 Black Z06 and at the same time did the flush mounts..Love it! Great effect in Hazzard Flash mode for events , showing off, etc
Yeah Man, this is a cool addition and I just love seeing other vette drivers on the road and signal to get in front of them, just to show off the different signal There has been a few that have asked me about my signal lights More would probably ask but can't catch up

I just installed mine 10 minutes ago. Pretty neat and different enough not to be rice. I had a '68 Cougar way back in High School days, loved the sequential lights it had. I am going to tackle the third brake light pulser next.

Hook up the backup light to each side and you can have 3 sequential lights - just like the Cougar.
In about 5 minutes I installed my plug-and-play sequential stop lights and they are COOL.
Not only do I get the sequence for the turn signals but due to the LED's lighing quicker than the incadescent bulbs you get a true "sequential" look for the stop lights.
