You have to see the completed car up close to appreciate the fit, finish and detail that is applied to his widebody. Pics just don't do it justice.
I remember he was applying caucking to a joint in he rear wheel well on one he was working on. Just like you would do if it was your car.

Around 32K
Few things to note about this conversion:
- Virtually every panel is replaced - hood, fenders, quarters, rockers, rear and front facia - the only thing original is doors and trunk lid. This is no tack on or bondo job!
- Panels are high quality glass with tooling gel coat. Can be upgraded to carbon.
- The kit includes new 19/20 HRE wheels and 275/345 Pirelli rubber. If you've priced this setup before, you know this package alone runs about $10K CDN
- New custom exhaust is included as the rear facia does not support the stock locations
- Includes installation, fitting and paint
For those of you interested in seeing the project in progress, go to www.picturetrail.com and type "gfischer" as the member name.
The only thing I dislike about the kit is the hood, just personal preference. I've never been a fan of the vague buble on that panel, I love how the stocker has the crease in the center. Only thing I'd change is using a DRM or MCM hood.
Can you not get John @ CCW to make some of those 505's to work?
Thanks for feedback.
The car will be treated to a custom House of Kolors paint job. My brother-in-law has a custom paint shop and once John Caravaggio is done fitting the panels the car will be shipped to be painted. We have decided on a Brandy Wine candy over a charcoal base. This gives it a black cherry color that really pops under sun or lights.
Interior will be dark tan over light tan Conolly leather.
I took a while to warm up to the hood. If you see it in person, it definitely flows nicely. I like the stock crease look, but every hood i looked at that will clear a Maggy has way too pronounced a bulge, especially at the front of the hood which in profile does not look the greatest to me. Haven't seen one that provides the best of both and John's is really nice and subtle up close.
John does make a really nice high profile hood that has the stock look, but won't clear a Maggy. Check out www.caravaggiocorvettes.com.
As for wheels, John has the dimensions, offsets, etc worked out with HRE. My CCWs were nice, but the HREs are definitely top notch as well.
Should have another update to the web site in a week or so.
Thanks all.
