Maf Plug?

Maf Plug?

How do you disconnect the wire that is attached to the MAF? I think that is what its called. The wire in front of the air bridge.

Lift up on the clip and pull out.

I lifted and removed the grayish color clip but still can't get it unplugged. Any other suggestions?

Did you push down on the safety latch as well? Wiggle the plug back and forth while depressing the latch. Don't pull on the wires.

i dont't think it is the grayish clip you need to release. i would put that back on then unlatch the black safety clip.

If you have the security clip out (gray) then all you have to do is just pull it out. May have to wiggle it side to side a little bit but there's nothing else holding it in. Just had mine out two days ago putting a Halltech Stinger on. Mines a 01 and would guess they all the same, but cant say for 100%.
