Does anyone have or know of a place to purchase a complete E4/H4 Euro Code GM Headlights kit (including 2 Phillips & Sylvania HID XENON Light Bulbs, Ballasts and High Output Wiring Harness with Dual Relays)? I want to upgrade my '04 vert with better headlights. I am not interested in aftermarket wannabe's - must be GM.
some of the CF forum vendors sell them, LAPD, Corvette Garage and I think Extreme, among probably a few others. These are the GM export glass lights, harness and the Phillips HID setup.
PFYC sells the European lights with the high output wiring harness. The lamps are 135/90 watts, H4 PIAA Super Halogen, not HID Xenon. They are a tremendous improvement over the stock headlights. The high beam lights up the road like offroad lights.
I have the T-84 with an after market HID installed. GM does not have HID for C5. The HID is so bright that which makes my PIAA 1100X look dim. I don't turn on the 1100X more, no need.
One thing to watch out is the T-84 was not designed for HID. As a result, the light pattern and cut off are not very good. Also, it's not street legal. Hope this helps.

For those of you questioning GM Euro HID headlights, here is the eBay auction that closed with a final bidder: eBay auction id - closed
I emailed the guy asking if he had another complete set and he replied that he was a distibutor but the lens manufacturer stopped building the lenses.
Go with T-84 Eurocode lamps and H-4 Halogen bulbs in 100/130 watt with relays. These Halogens are actually more lumens than HIDs, have a broader visible light spectrum that is easier for your brain to visualy decode and understand, and the whole setup would be about a grand less $$ than HIDs. None ..REPEAT NONE of the H4 HID 'upgrade' bulbs place the arc in the correct location for proper beam placement. I looked into this quite extensively only a few months ago. Spent about 100 hours talking to experts in 3 countries and finally abandon the HID idea altogether and went with traditional hi watt H4 just like all my other cars for the last 30 or so years.
I bought my GM T-84s from www.cibieusa.com The owner there is a fellow C5 owner. He sources the T-84s in Sweden, where he can get them cheaper than from USA GM distribution and passes savings on to us who buy them. He certainly beat my local dealer 'club' price! He also has all range of wattage in H4 bulbs and relays and adapter cables.
Get Narva bulbs. AFAIK, they're the brighted halogen bulbs. Check out David Stern's website for more info. Lots of info about this, and other lighting topics in the C5 General Sticky.
