We must be tolerant
I don't know about you, but I can not search for specific topics. The search function takes forever! Assuming this is the case with eveyone (which I think it is based on recent posts), we shouldn't immediately blast folks who ask old questions. For all we know, they tried to do a search and it failed.

good observation, but people also should not just rely on searches - take a look at the first few pages of the forum and you will see a lot of the common issues in there.

I have never found the regular search function to be very helpful because it takes much too long to load or does not load at all. I have found much better luck by clicking on advanced search and querying the system that way. It works a lot better and is much quicker. I have no idea why though.

As a relative newcomer to this site, it took me several weeks of hanging around the fringes of this forum to figure this out for myself.
An added advantage to going several pages deep is the increased odds of catching EG's neon mod
