I always keep my top up, but not sure if there's an advantage to that in terms of protecting the top fabric. At least my interior is protected.

I'd let it sit with the top up - I think it would retain its shape better and not let a ton of dust in the interior. JMO.

Top is definitely UP, but just leave the latches unlocked, to preserve the rubber molding.

Then just get yourself a nice car cover to protect against dust and dirt

You should be all set

Up if it is down the top could create creases if left down for an extended period of time

I always leave mine up but not latched, with the windows down enough that they arent pushing into the seals. I also keep a white beach blanket over the top to keep the dirt and dust from getting embedded in it over the winter.

I leave mine up but unlatched. That takes the pressure off the fabric and the weatherstripping. Also lower windows away from weather stripping. I use a car cover as a dust cover. I also leave the visors down so that it reminds me that top is unlatched and have a note on the gear shifter. Just in case someone else moves the car. Just my$.02

I leave mine up and latched. In others words I don't give it a chance to shrink. Once shrinkage occurs that is when you'll get cracks. This is why people that leave theirs down all the time have the worst looking tops. But up and unlatched is better than down. My .02 And there's lots of give in the weather stripping so I wouldn't worry about it. And you should always dress the stripping once a year anyway.

If you just bought a Corvette, you should drive it for the next two months.

i agree 100%. i stored my last 'vert in the garage for the better part of 3 years (driving it now & then) in exactly this manner. keeps the shape of the canvas intact without compressing all the rubber. i also applied a good film of silicone dielectric grease on the rubber mouldings which keeps (kept) it soft & supple.
