Clear Coat on Wheels??

Clear Coat on Wheels??
Has anyone had an issue with the clear-coat on the polished wheels…
I had the clear-coat start to come off one of my rear wheels..(by the way GM will not replace a wheel with this issue) GM will only have the wheel re-coated..after 3 trys the dealer Tom Jumper in Atlanta gave up and offered me a new wheel..
GM sent me a letter stating if I did not agree with there stand on this contact the BBB and gave me the #.. 
Well got down to Fla. And washed the Vette yesterday now I have a front wheel doing the same thing..by the its an 04 with 20K miles.

Unless you drive the car in a harsh climate (i.e. winter use with lots of salt/chemicals on the road), there should be no reason the clear comes off in that short period of time and miles. Press GM to replace the wheels - they should be under warranty. If they refuse - take them to arbitration.
