Default Jacking Puck Question

Based on recommendations mentioned in the Forum,Just ordered a set of Jacking Pucks my 99 Vet from Elite Engineering.Question is can these pucks be left on vehicle or do they need to be removed after each use.

they look like the hang low so I would remove them. You wouldn't want it to fall out or get caught on something...

They are not intended to remain on. Remove them. Keep them in the car, in case you need work done you can reattach them!

They are small enough to store in the car somewhere.....

It only takes about 1 sec. per puck to attach. You'll spend more time walking around the car then it takes to attach. They will come in a small box and could easily be stored in the car. They are also really cool paperweights!

Might be too late but if you have not ordered them look at making your own. Go to

www.97vette.com

and see if you like this alternative. I made the pucks but haven't used them yet - total cost about $20 Can.

I would recommend just keeping them in the car in a storage compartment and then when you need them, they can be attached quickly.

I could no longer use mine when I had Andy at A&A install a set of his Rocker Rail Savers. The Rocker Savers cover about half of the hole in the frame where the pucks attach.

So.....can you jack just using the rocker savers?

I've got them too but I haven't had the need to jack yet......

If you have them attached when you go over a big speed bump, you're going to screw up your frame!
