need a little help please
Currently i have a 3rd gen droptop camaro (future ZO6 owner) and I’m trying to get an agreed upon insurance policy for the car. I don’t have any problems now with insurance, but god forbid it gets totaled there only going to give me 3k for the thing, when i know its worth much more than that.(91 rs droptop red with red leather interior with a 5 speed only 60k miles.) I know that some of you vette owners have this policy, what company do you have this thru and are there any restrictions on mileage or use??? Also while I’m asking questions what would be a good car cover to get for it? it would be for inside use, but outside use could happen. I’d like it to be padded to help avoid against dings and the like. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Get it appraised from a good place. Send a copy to the insurance company. Tell them you want a "collectors" policy. You policy will go up and in some cases double. I had to do this with my 67 mustang I owned 10 years ago. Thank god I did. The car was hit while parked by an wrecker hauling a bus. 
If I did not have that "rider appraisal" policy, the insurance company would have given me 500 dollars, instead of 10,000 dollars.
When I changed my policy from just a 67 mustang to a collector's 67 mustang the policy went from $800 to $1400.
