I know it hard to pull the wheels in a C5, but can it be done, stock suspension? Ive seen C5s in the 1.4 60 foot range not pulling the wheels, yet my buddy in his 00 camaro pulls a 1.6 60 foot with the wheels a foot off the ground. Suggestions......

Wow, are there still places in this country where you can dial seven digits on a phone and not include the area code to get an answer? Hope so, for the trophy shop... either that or they need to update their sign.

So your saying with a built driveline, slicks, and a 6k rpm launch, the front wheels wont leave the ground? What will happen?
Maybe you should explain what you're trying to achieve. Pulling the front wheels off the ground or running the 60' in under 1.6? As ALLTHROTTLE has pointed out, he has no problem with 1.5's. If you want to pull the wheels, you will probably have to have a higher center of gravity or more power/tires yet.

I have an automatic and flash from idle~950 rpms...........as you see in the pic it hooks-n-cooks down the track. The OEM IRS limits the amount of travel plus this car is 3680# with me in it.
Suggest you go to some races with fast vette's and see what I mean
