K&N airfilter?

I was thinking about doing this for my first internal mod.How much hp would I pick up?

If you are lucky maybe 5hp. The Z06 setup is pretty good by itself. Aftermarket filters seem to help the LS1 engines over the Z06's.

I just put a Fram Air Hog in mine. Not a real noticeable hp difference other than the throttle response seems better. my .02

For $55 You Can Have An Air Intake Like The Blackwing

K&n Rf 1040 Filter $45(take A Look On K&n Website)
Apc Vent Filter $10
This Install Is Very Simple, Just Remove Stock Airbox & Replace!

This setup duplicates the blackwing or halltech, but for a fraction of the cost.

Dyno results show numbers right on with blackwing, halltech, etc..
