Default There's no turning back now....

Sounds like a great start. My wife has always accused me of going too far in everything I do. I just got my car back from Bette doctors yesterday and entered the mod world with:

Vararam, TB Velocity stack, Dynatech headers, hi-flow cats, x-pipe, Magnaflow catback and an Elite engineering tunnel support. Man, I thought it ran like a beast before the mods..... Picked up 40 Hp and 40 ft-lbs.

Good luck on the mod and start saving you lunch money because you will be hooked for sure!

This is the way it always starts. A simple intake mod. Then you need the exhaust mod. The now you notice that the handling could be a little more precise and on go the Bilsteins and Z06 bars. Now that it runs, sounds and handles so well it's a shame to run around on those old wheels so on go the new chromies and tires because you went with wider 18 inch rims all around. Oops, the Fedex guy just delivered you B&m Shifter to your house instead of your office and your wife knows about it. The sneaking around has begun. Now you start looking at LT headers and are aready calculating the how's while your wife is out of town visiting your daughter for a week this spring.

I'm afraid you have already been infected with a highly virulent strain of a modification bug. Once infected the symptoms only increase. The bad news is that it is incurable. The good news is it's one hell of a lot of fun.

Enjoy the ride! You have no choice.

I did that one first too.

Oh, except for the short antenna, oh and oil pan magnet, oh ya, and the floor mats, and the led install, dont forget the escort zr3, and halltech air bridge mounted to the vortex, and the shifter ****. Other than that, the vortex was my first mod.

Good for you and all of us. I was doing some non-Corvette business with one of the forum's racing item vendors yesterday and he told me things were tough for Corvette accessory vendors in the final quarter of 2004. I'm still doing my part too - three new orders for stuff already this morning and it ain't but ten after nine. If we don't support these guys, they will disappear and once you start paying for custom fabricated parts you will be shocked by their cost.
