We've had our vette to the dealer twice for the warped rotors. They machined them each time. Whats it take to get new rotors? This time the mechanic told the service manager we must be racing it hard. The only racing we do is stop and go on I75 to work.
Anyone else had brake problems?
Thanks!

Machining will temporarily fix them but I doubt if it is truly warped rotors. Lot of misinformation and incorrect information regarding rotors. In fact racing is one way to almost guarantee you won't have a pulsating brake pedal.
I had mine done once and they have been great ever since. If they turn them to much they will have to replace them. They will get to thin for proper service. If they turn them again I would want to know how much is left before they are done. They might be trying to put you off till the warranty expires then hit you up for rotors. If they do don't buy them from them. You'll find much better deals on rotors here on the forum. My .02
Get new rotors from rockauto at about $20 each. make sure the mating surfaces on the hubs are clean when installing new rotors.
Make sure the guide pins on the calipers are well lubed when reassembling. Use a star pattern when tightening the lug nuts... first to 75, then to 100 ft.lbs.
I bet after that, you won't have a problem anymore.
Anytime they suggest machining the rotors, consider this: at $19 new, it is not worth the time or expense. As rotors are machined, their ability to absorb heat is reduced (there is less metal), and they warp easier.
