I tried to lower my passenger window today and it will not operate.
I can hear the relay in the door when i press up or down, but the motor does not engage. I checked all the fuses and everything is ok. Anyone else had this problem?

I had the exact problem on my '01 Z06 last April.Even though I was out of warrnty by 5 months on time the car only had 17XXX miles on it.The dealer called GM and they went ahead and fixed me up for free.Go to a good dealer and let them handle it,that's what they are there for.
This is one of the more common problems on the C5. Many theories, none are proven. I've had 2x C5s, both have had this same problem. Quick solution is to slam the door with the down button held down. Usually frees up. Sometimes frees up by itself. Would have the motor replaced before your warranty runs up. Hopefully it won't fix itself before you get it into the service department.
Possible causes.......
Low voltage
Loose connection on motor
Corroded bushings in motor
Bad motor
Infrequent use, which causes corrosion.
I had the exact same problem, passenger side and all. Thanks to the CF it was fixed in about ten minutes, take off door panel, hit the pwr motor with something (pliers) and press the button, worked for me. I dont know how, just tried it first before ordering the motor, i think it had to do with dust build up or something.
Very common problem. Dealt with this myself for a long time. The best and easiest quick fix is to punch the door (hard) just to the right of where the top right corner of the speaker meets the door (assuming its the passange side door) while the door is opened. This is where the motor is located. This fix will last awhile, but like the others said it will inevitablly fail over time, and Murphy will make sure its at the worst possible time. If possible, get it replaced at the dealer sooner than later.
