Good looking car! It looks just like my ex 98 coupe.

Get it to a good mechanic and have it checked out. Drive it on the highway at 70-80 mph and make sure it tracks straight when you accelerate gently or brake.

Get some anti MF* pills too.

I think you got a very good deal. I paid $22,500 for my 98 back in April with 25k miles and a few less options. Congratulations, the "permagrin" is standard BTW.

And welcome to the Forum. Let the mods begin!

You're running an A4 and the E-bay listing doesn't say anything about the perforrmance axle option. If that's true, you're running the 2:73 rear so I'd guess around 13.8-13.9 in the 1/4 mile.

No, I'm not kidding. Mine runs a 13.6 and I've got the "performance" rear end (3:15).

I'd check to see what your rear end is first. The standard A4 has 2:73's and that's not what you want for the strip. A set of 3:73's (cost about a grand) will get you down to around 13.3. Then you'll want an intake change and an exhaust system (about another grand for both or a little higher depending on the exhaust). Then you should be knocking on the door for 13 flat.
