Trying to justify a four post lift (another hidden cost of Vette)
I don't think there is enough ceiling to get one car under another, but at least I can get more floor and door opening space. Theoretically I have 3" to spare, but do not want to chance pushing one thru the attic
Anyone else have to deal with this? Shoulda, woulda, coulda bought a house with a bigger garage
When pulling in and giving a reasonable distance to open the driver door, the passenger side looks like...
Other side is just as bad... Its not a messy as it looks, just too much stuff in too little space.
Pretty close quarters there. How about a garage sale?
There's just never enough space. I swear I need 5 acres and at least two out buildings on strictly shop another garage and a smaller stock room for all the spare parts storage. Man that would be heaven. But until I retire and move out to the country it's just not going to happen.
You might try changing your garage door as part of this project. A good door company can change this so it rolls right up against the ceiling to give you more room. Autolifters makes an 8000lb 4 post lift that's one of the smaller 4 post lifts dimensionally (Backyard Buddy style).
