Gratitude/assistance
First, I want to dress up the engine and underhood appearance of my FRC. Can't afford to go the chrome etc route and would like to paint flame red what most usually is chromed. Can the careful use of spray can paints (as opposed to body shop type high pressure spray) on those surfaces result in acceptable appearance given proper cleaning and preparation?Second, I plan to do the cabin heat/noise reduction job, but havn't a clue how to take out the seats. If there is a thread about it in here I can't find it. Thanks again. Lew W

Painting underhood: I think that GM makes a flexible surface primer, a color coat (assuming you want to paint the parts a Vette color), and a clear coat. Should be available from Chevy dealer. Just prep the parts thoroughly and paint away.
Hope this helps.
