Wheels or LG headers? im at a fork in the road here guys i cant decide on some new CCW street classics 18' s all around, it will come to about 3k total, ill sell my stock rims and tires with about 33oo miles on them, looking to get $1600 for them, or pic up a set of LG headders w/ cats and get it dyno tuned, for about 2.5k, both have there plus's, i wont be doing really any racing, i gonna try out a HPDE event soon but thats about it. what should i do?

I think that you have pretty much answered your own question. I'm
sure that you will enjoy the look of the new wheels, and I'm sure that you would enjoy the additional performance from the headers. Right now, it sounds like you would prefer to get some new shoes for your
baby. Under the circumstances, I think I agree with you.

Enjoy those great wheels...

We all want to go fast but rarely put our foot to the floor. My vote would put wheels and skins on your car. Looking great is more important than a faster 0 to 60 time. I would love to have 500 horsepower but I would rarely use it.

You wanna look good in the neighborhood!

I'm in the same boat but I'm saving for the HP turbo set-up, I go to far more car shows and cruise events than to the strip so I decided to go with new wheels. Jason

Default New Shoes

Quite a decision I'm sure. The headers are a tempting mod - but I believe that you will get more pleasure and satisfaction out of the new shoes. Your car is looooking gooood - So my op is that you go for the wheels

I'd get the wheels. Unless you are planning on hot rodding the car, the looks of the wheels will be very

You'll look at your wheels everytime you see your car as others will. You'll use all that added power only infrequently if at all.

Choice is clear...

Not racing? Then go for the wheels, the headers can wait until you truly need them.

Mike... you'll want to be careful running an HPDE on a/m wheels like that. A few people do, and since you'll be on street tires the first few times you'll be just fine.

I'd have gotten the CCWs then just saved up a bit for the Headers.
